Jade Ohno: I don't think Febreze will make the car seats sticky, but it won't really remove the cigarette smell, either. It just covers up smells. If you really want to remove the cigarette smell, use white vinegar. Vinegar destroys cigarette smell on a molecular level. It doesn't just cover it up, like air fresheners do. It destroys it.Pour undiluted White Vinegar into a spritzer bottle and spray everything with this. Yes, vinegar stinks, too, but unlike cigarette smell, it dissipates within hours. And once it does, the cigarette smell will be gone, too. It works every time.-...Show more
Gene Debell: no wont make them sticky but that will just mask the smell. you should rent a small steam cleaner, and just go to town on your interior( as long as its not leather) and you will see the yellow tinge getting lifted from the seats. I normally put in a glade air freshener over febreeze so i don't always have to spray it.
